I wanted to use the original cover of the book on this layout. I cut it down and placed it in the center of the page. I sponged with Chocolate ink all around the edges of the papers and then took Colonial waxy flax which I just LOVE to use and sewed stitches around all the outside of the page. Waxy flax is kind of sticky and it just stays wherever you put it. I added a row of brown buttons in the center and then stamped the zoo animals from a CTMH stamp set, colored them with CTMH markers and cut them out. I used foam squares to pop them up off of the page. I added the pictures that the teacher took from the original book.
