Heading into summer with G-ball fun.  Baseball paper is back drop for action shots and group pictures!
Last days of school in this layout of blues and yellows.
Grandparents Day finish off the school year.  Lots of love for each, Cricut letters, glitter gems and a cutout heart of red glitter.
Field trip to the zoo and the last day of second grade.  Lots of zoo 3-D stickers and Cricut cut out letters.
Blizzards Soccer team picture.  Lots of Cricut soccer balls and cutout letters.

Soccer days are chilly but fun.  "Got Soccer" laser cut goal and letters in the grass focus this page with a trophy picture and a group picture.
Soccer days with a group picture and lots of soccer balls.  Cricut ball cutouts line the outside of the base soccer paper.  Glitter ribbon in the school colors and grass cut out from Circuit cartridge also.

Birthday party for an 8 year old who loves Legos!  Cricut letters, Lego ribbon and Lego pieced character complete the look on checkered flag paper.  The theme was Lego racing and the birthday boy got lots of Legos!

Love doing Christmas pages.  Close to my Heart papers all coordinating together.  Cricut cutouts, add kids and Santa makes a fun layout!
Visiting Santa Claus!  Telling him what we want for Christmas and being excited to be good kids!  Cricut cutting for the Santa suit and his sled.  Added liquid applique which you use a heat gun to make it puff up on the suit and snow on the runners of the sled.  Glitter snowflakes with bling in the center to make the page sparkle.
Christmas party at school.  Lots of games, snacks before going home for Christmas break.  The kids are all excited to see Santa come in a couple weeks!  I used my Cricut to cut out the Santa hat and the shadow behind it and the letters.  A liquid applique dries to a puff look for the fur on the hat. Glitter snowflakes with bling added in the center make it a sparkly page.

Halloween page with one costume as Darth Vader, and an army costume. Using camo background paper and a laser cut Darth overlay made this layout.  Adding Cricut letters and Halloween 3-D stickers completed a cool look.
A double page layout with school pictures of all of the class and teachers.  Fun paper and lots of smiles.

Picture day at school!  Big smiles matted on lined elementary paper. 3-D stickers finish the page off.
Group picture of second graders on a chalkboard paper. Room for spelling out all of the names of each plus teachers.

The first day of second grade!  Fun page with first day pictures, a cool big pencil to accent the page and a little stamping using Close to my Heart stamps.

Summer fun with T-Ball!  This page is a lazer cut sheet of paper and I added the black paper behind it.  Added ball stickers and used my Cricut to cut out the team letters.
Second grade class Field trip on a beautiful spring day.  What fun to chaperon these kids as the excitement builds up as they experience a train ride, an old school house and a Fire station!
Field trip to ride a train and sit in a class in a one room school house to see what it was like back in the day.  Buttons with hemp tied in them and cardboard corragulated stars with ink rubbed over them with a Field trip sticker at top.  My Close to my Heart paper pack had the star and wings emblem in the paper.
Field Trip to a Fire House!  Stickers, buttons with Hemp tied in them, cardboard corragulated stars rubbed over a ink pad give off a little color.
Celebrating First Holy Communion!  Love how simple this layout is and adding just a little bit of color to make it fun!
"On this Day" was cut out with my Cricut and the "i" dotted with a lace flower cut from a ribbon strip as used on the next page.  I also cut the banner and popped it with foam squares and a solid cardstock behind it to bring more color out.
Celebrate with cake and ice cream!!  I cut out the word "Celebrate" in printed flowered paper with my Cricut and love the color!  The balloons were cut with the Cricut also and the blue ones popped with foam squares.  Tied up with waxy flax, rosette ribbon across the top, a simple splash of color with the pick stripe off to the side completes the pictures on this page.
Had fun using my Close to my Heart Cricut cartridges to make this layout.  Just a simple layout which was fast and easy to make.  Using CTMH "How to Books" and following the recipes to create these designs is easy.
