Christmas card

This is another one of my Xmas cards that I made this year with the clear cards from Close to my Heart.  On the outside front I placed the striped piece from the "Just Chillin" paper pack and Ocean cardstock for the mat for the stamped picture.  I used the stamp set "Snow Days".  I then took CTMH new "Glitz" glitter gel and applied it to all of the snow on the trees and house tops to make it sparkle.  I stamped a snowflake in Breeze ink in the right top corner and added a blue bitty sparkle in the center.

On the inside of the card I used Desert Sand cardstock on the left side and more of the Just Chillin paper pack on the right.  I added bitty sparkles to the center of the snowflakes so as to make them sparkle.  I used Vineyard Berry cardstock for the mat and placed it so it was underneath the mat on the front of the card to give it a 2 color mat look from the front.  I stamped the horse and sleigh in Vineyard Berry and used the glitter gel on the frosted tree.  The stamp comes with the above stamp set.  I used Vineyard Berry organdy ribbon down the left and applied CTMH's new pearl "Opaques" in the Mocha color.
On the front backside I used the same stripe of paper as on the front to cover the back of the paper showing through the clear card.  I also covered the mat backside with the circle paper from Just Chillin to finish the look.  The striped paper was placed to hide the seam of the cardstock and printed paper on the inside of the card.  I also covered the back of the clear card to hide the adhesive marks from the inside paper.
I took Chocolate distressing ink and distressed all of the edges of the paper pieces before assembling.  

This was so fun to use and just used scraps of paper.  I love how the clear cards look and feel.
