This colorful birthday layout is of my oldest son turning 5 years old.  I used the Imagine layout book from Close to my Heart and arranged the pieces together.  I used the edge of my CTMH ink pad in black to create the criss cross look.  The paper is Giggles and Grin paper pack from CTMH.  That is his invitation at the top left, with polka dot ribbon to break the pictures up.  I used my Cricut to cut the letters and shadows for the lettering.  The page below I covered the #5 with paper and used cardstock to layer and give dimension to the #.   I really like to cut small pictures and put them on tags with ribbon to give the page a fun look.  More ribbon and lots more distessing.
